POE/ ECNR / ECR

As per the Emigration Act, 1983, certain categories of Indian passport holders require obtaining “Emigration Clearance” from the office of Protector of Emigrants (POE) for going to certain countries.

As per the Emigration Act, “emigration” means going out of India of any Indian citizen with a view to taking up employment in a foreign country. All Indian passports are divided into two categories as follows:

1. Passports with endorsement: “Emigration Check Required” (ECR)

2. Passports with endorsement: “Emigration Check Not Required” (ECNR)

The Indian passport holders who have the stamp of ECR are required to get emigration clearance from the Protector of Migrants if going out to any country except Pakistan, Bangladesh, European countries (excluding CIS countries), all countries of North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, and South Africa.

Indian passport holders who have the stamp of ECNR do not require taking any emigration clearance from POE for going to any country.

Emigration Procedures for Various Countries

Emigration for Gulf Countries:

We shall submit the following documents in the prescribed format to the Protector Of Emigrant for the purpose of Emigration. Following documents are required to submit the passport for emigration.

SPONSOR HAS TO REGISTER HIMSELF ON EMIGRATE.GOV.IN AFTER REGISTRATION ONLINE DEMAND TO BE RAISED IN FAVOUR OF SIKANDER CONSULTANTS & MANAGEMENT (RA 2200)
Power of Attorney -as specified in Emigrate System
Demand Letter as Specified in Emigrate System

Emigration for KSA:

We shall submit the following documents in the prescribed format to the Protector Of Emigrant for the purpose of Emigration. Following documents are required to submit the passport for migration.

Wakala (Power of Attorney) in which the authorization is given to Sikander Consultants, for recruiting / servicing the visa mentioned
Demand Letter
Employment Agreement – Should be attested by Chamber of Commerce, Unskilled category must be attested by the Indian Embassy

Emigration for Other Countries:

For emigration to countries other than Gulf countries and KSA, we facilitate a smooth and efficient process to obtain the necessary emigration clearance. Our team will assist you in preparing and submitting all the required documents to the Protector Of Emigrants for seamless processing.
